Founding beta terms
A few trail rules
Simple expectations for families using The Hollow Academy during the free founding beta.
Beta draft · Updated October 17, 2026
Parent-led educational resource
The Hollow Academy is a family learning resource, not an accredited school, childcare provider, medical service, or substitute for adult supervision. Parents remain responsible for instruction, safety, and compliance with their state’s homeschool requirements.
Outdoor and hands-on activities
Parents decide whether each activity is appropriate for their child, location, weather, tools, allergies, mobility, and experience. An adult should supervise outdoor and hands-on work.
Beta access
Founding beta access is free, invitation-only, and may change as the program is tested. Features may contain mistakes or be revised. We may pause access to protect families, repair the service, or end the beta.
Family accounts
Parents agree to use their own invitation and sign-in, keep the parent PIN private, and avoid sharing another family’s information. Content may be used by the invited household for personal family learning and may not be resold or republished.
Feedback
Families may voluntarily share feedback and ideas. We may use that feedback to improve the program, without publishing a family’s name, image, testimonial, or learner work unless the parent separately agrees.
